I enjoy a more 3D approach to artwork. I like to inncorperate diffrent mediums in my art work such as found objects, wire work, or even using materials for reliefs. I love bright colors and innovative ideas.
This piece is becoming one of my favorites. This is Elizabeth Taylor. Its soft pastels and charcol, with wire creating not only an awesome drawing, but also a unique 3D piece of artwork
This piece is 3D. It is constructed of bristol board cut into 2x2 squares, then wired together. The image is made from a medium of india ink mixed with Elmers glue and the colors are soft pastels. The back is tissue paper & the box was constructed out of foam board. I really like this piece because it reminds me of an ink blot text.
this is a marinette made from found objects every piece is screwed on or glued from her circuit board dress to her copper wheel. it was mostly made from an old VCR and telephone. her arms move up and down and her head moves from side to side.
This was an individual piece that was supposed to be 3D, but looked better 2D. It is done with charcoal and soft pastels. It looks as if the person is reaching out and is distorted in a great way.
